What types of hemp genetics does AVCOA provide?
AVCOA offers a selection of hemp strains tailored to meet diverse market demands, including high yield, rapid growth, and specific cannabinoid profiles.
Kong
Bred in South Africa, Kong is renowned for its exceptionally low THC content (approximately 0.2%), making it compliant with international standards for non-narcotic agricultural hemp. This strain is particularly suitable for fibre production due to its tall growth (about 1 meters) and high biomass yield, reportedly reaching up to 18 tonnes per hectare in optimal conditions.
Easy Rider
Bred in South Africa, Easy Rider is an auto flowering hemp variety primarily cultivated for its flower production. Its shorter stature (up to 0.5 meters) and rapid maturation make it ideal for regions with shorter growing seasons. Easy Rider's flower is rich in CBD, catering to the health food and nutraceutical markets.
Frankinkong
A newly developed hybrid for cannabinoids in South African hemp strain is cultivated for both fiber and seed. It is known for its adaptability to various climates and its balanced profile, offering moderate fiber quality and seed content.

By selecting and cultivating strains with these specific characteristics, AVCOA aims to address diverse market needs, from industrial applications requiring robust fiber to health-oriented products necessitating nutrient-rich seeds.
